This $38M South Florida beach home is bananas

Located on South Beach Road in Jupiter is this massive contemporary with dramatic waterfalls draping the facade and beaches on two sides.

The 16,800-square-foot Florida beach home, named “Villa Cielo y Mar,” was constructed this year on two acres and appears to be well on its way toward completion. The asking price is $37.9 million ($2,256 per square foot), making it the most expensive home for sale in the Jupiter area.

It has eight bedrooms and nine and a half bathrooms. Additional features include a two-story floating cement staircase, a 2,500-square-foot rooftop deck with a hot tub overlooking the ocean, an infinity pool on the second level, a 100-foot dock, and 200 feet of frontage along both the intracoastal and the ocean.

The architect is Hughes Umbanhower and public records show the property last sold for $6.56 million in 2014.

Jupiter is no stranger to unique homes. In March we featured one with a stiletto-shaped bath tub asking $7 million while Celine Dion’s former waterpark/home sold for $28 million in June.
